Refinery to be modernized in Turkmenistan soon
The modernization of the nitrogen station equipment is under completion at the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries, the Turkmen Oil and Gas Ministry said Jan. 28.
At this stage, full automation is being introduced by using innovative software. A special controller is being assembled.
This device manages all operations and monitors all processes at the nitrogen station, such as the nitrogen concentration, temperature, humidity. It adjusts the parameters during the operation. Nitrogen is a necessary component in the production of fuels and lubricants.
The joint Turkmen-Dutch enterprise Turkmengazavtomatika & Krohne is reconstructing the station. The founders of the joint venture are the Turkmengaz state concern and Krohne Oil & Gas BV company.
