The delegation of Uzbekistan headed by the Chairman of the Supreme court Kasimjan Komilov will participate in the 13th meeting of Chairpersons of the Supreme courts of the member States of the SCO, reported Uzbek media on May 18.
During the meeting, which will be held on May 25 in Beijing, it is planned to discuss the implementation of information technologies in judicial activities, cooperation in the field of law in the fight against terrorism, extremism, separatism, drug trafficking, human trafficking and money laundering.
Moreover, it is planned to discuss topical issues of justice of mutual interest, as well as prospects for further cooperation of the judiciary of the SCO member States.
A joint statement will be adopted at the end of the meeting.
Additionally, the 12th Meeting of Chairmen of the Supreme Courts of the SCO member states was held in October last year in Tashkent.
During the meeting, the issues of improving the legislation on investment disputes, further improving the efficiency of cooperation between the SCO member States in the field of legal assistance in civil and criminal cases, the practice of combating recruitment and recruitment of the younger generation in the activities of various terrorist and radical structures in the SCO member States were discussed.
