UAE in top-5 of Turkmenistan’s trade partners – envoy

The UAE is one of the top five trade partners of Turkmenistan, and the volume of trade turnover between the two countries continues to grow, the UAE ambassador Hassan Abdullah Al Adab said in an interview with Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper.
The diplomat noted that if in 2015 the trade turnover amounted to $1.33 billion and it reached $1.432 billion in 2016. Meanwhile, the share of exports from the UAE to Turkmenistan totaled $1.375 billion.
“I would like to take this opportunity to note the good dynamics of interaction between the UAE and Turkmenistan, which is based on the principles of mutual respect and trust, and has reached the level of strategic partnership,” added the envoy.
