Spanish FM to visit Baku

Spanish Foreign Ministry has announced the preliminary date for the visit of Foreign Minister to Azerbaijan.
Minister Jose Manuel García-Margallo is expected to pay his first official visit to Azerbaijan around April 20-25, the ministry told Trend on February 26.
The Spanish foreign minister is expected to hold bilateral negotiations at the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, as well as in other official structures of the country and discuss the prospects of bilateral and regional cooperation.
During the negotiations there will also be exchange of views on the issues of Azerbaijan's integration to European structures.
The diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Spain were established on February 11, 1992. Azerbaijan opened its embassy in Spain in 2005. Since 1998, the ambassador of Spain in Turkey, at the same time has been accredited in Azerbaijan.
