By Aynur Jafarova
Opening of Istanbul-Baku-Bishkek and Bishkek-Baku-Istanbul flights as well as holding of Kyrgyzstan-Azerbaijan business forum were key issues discussed at a meeting of Kyrgyz Prime Minister Jantoro Satybaldiyev and new Azerbaijani ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Hidayat Orujov.
Satybaldiyev expressed confidence that the new ambassador will make all efforts to develop Azerbaijani-Kyrgyz economic relations.
Orujov, in turn, said that Azerbaijan is conducting preparations to hold the 85th jubilee of famous Kyrgyz writer Chinghiz Aitmatov. He invited the Kyrgyz prime minister to pay a visit to Azerbaijan.
The prime minister and the ambassador also discussed the current development of bilateral relations.
In November 2012, Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan signed an agreement on a new air service, which envisaged carrying regular passenger and cargo flights between the two countries.
