Bosnia and Herzegovina's leader to discuss coop prospects in Azerbaijan
Prospects for developing Bosnia and Herzegovina's relations with Azerbaijan will be discussed during President Bakir Izetbegovic's visit to the South Caucasus republic.
"The visit will take place in late October. This is the first visit by a president of Bosnia and Herzegovina," advisor of Azerbaijan's mission in the country, Yusif Vezirov, told the Baku-based Trend news agency on Wednesday.
The diplomat said a package of documents which will be signed during the visit is being prepared.
Vezirov said relations between the two countries are developing and specific proposals on their development will be considered during the visit.
"Economic relations are not yet at the desired level, but most issues will be defined after the president's visit," he added.
Vezirov said an intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation is to be established upon Azerbaijan's proposal, which is currently being considered by the Bosnian side.
The Azerbaijani diplomatic mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina was established in March 2011. Azerbaijani Ambassador to Romania Eldar Hasanov was accredited in the country.
