Taxi fares in Baku to be paid with plastic cards
Customers will soon be able to pay taxi fares in Baku with plastic cards, says Ilgar Gasymov, director of Baku Taxi Company.
According to him, mobile POS terminals will be installed at the TX4 London cabs, which recently began to be used in the city, to make such payments, prior to the Eurovision Song Contest to be held in the Azerbaijani capital in late May.
Gasymov said banks which will issue the cards are being selected.
He added that the banks whose plastic cards are more widely used will be chosen for the purpose.
