Azeri parliament approves int’l agreements
The Azerbaijani parliament on Tuesday ratified a number of agreements signed with other countries.
The agreements include ones between the Azerbaijani and Columbian governments on mutual waiver of visas for diplomats and officials, as well as the agreements on economic cooperation and promotion and mutual protection of investments between Azerbaijan and Montenegro.
The Milli Majlis also amended the legislation dealing with stateless persons and foreigners staying in Azerbaijan for more than 30 days.
According to the changes, if there is a standing court ruling that temporarily restricts the right of a stateless person permanently residing in Azerbaijan to leave the country, he or she cannot obtain an ID to travel outside Azerbaijan.
