Major concert complex to be built in Baku
BAKU – Construction of an up-to-date sports and concert complex to host major cultural events will begin in the Azerbaijani capital Baku soon, according to the state committee on property issues.
Germany’s Alpine Bau Deutschland AG has been selected as a contractor to develop the project and carry out construction operations in the shortest time possible.
A relevant contract was signed with the German company in early August, and preparations began at the National Flag Square in the Baku seaside park to launch construction work.
Under the contract, Alpine is to complete the construction of the Baku Crystal Hall facility over eight months.
