Azeri victory in information war with Armenia crucial – official
BAKU – An Azerbaijani official has said it was crucial for Azerbaijan to win "information war" with Armenia, a neighboring country with which it has long been in a state of war.
"Azerbaijan’s victory in the information war does not depend on those active in Baku alone. This also depends on our citizens living and studying abroad," Presidential Administration official Elnur Aslanov told an event of the International Forum of Azerbaijani Alumni and Youth Studying Abroad.
"The information war is not merely a dispute over historical facts. At the same time, it concerns the promotion of Azerbaijan’s development and our abundant culture," Aslanov told the opening of the Baku - Youth City summer forum, which was joined by over 4,000 students from 37 countries.
About 10,000 Azerbaijanis are receiving education in other countries.
