French president awards Azeri committee chair
BAKU – Chairwoman of Azerbaijan’s State Committee for Family, Women and Children’s Affairs Hijran Huseynova has been awarded Officer degree of the French National Order of the Legion of Honor.
According to the French embassy in Baku, Huseynova was honored on the proposal of France’s foreign minister.
The award marks her contribution to combating violence against women.
