Azeri border guards detain 99 wanted by police
BAKU – Azerbaijani border guards have detained 99 people wanted by police in November. Detainees were transferred to law enforcement agencies, the State Border Service (SBS) said.
In November, attempts to violate the state border, during which 27 people were detained, were prevented in 17 cases.
10 of the 27 people, who violated the border, are nationals of Iran, Georgia, Russia and Pakistan.
In November, the border guards seized about six kilograms of narcotic substances from drug traffickers.
