Azerbaijan, Armenia agreed to swap POWs: Medvedev
BAKU – The presidents of Azerbaijan and Armenia agreed with Russian President Dmitry Medvedev’s mediation on Wednesday to swap prisoners of war and exchange the bodies of soldiers killed in clashes.
President Medvedev said after a meeting with Ilham Aliyev and Serzh Sargsyan in the southern Russian city of Astrakhan that the parties had signed a joint statement on the issue.
