EU South Caucasus envoy due in Baku Sunday
BAKU – The European Union’s Special Representative for the South Caucasus, Peter Semneby, will pay a visit to Baku on September 5-7, the office of the EU envoy in Azerbaijan said.
Semneby will hold regular consultations with the Azerbaijani authorities and meet the representatives of Azerbaijani community of Upper (Nagorno) Karabakh, an Azerbaijani region under Armenian occupation, as well as political parties and members of civil society. The visit will focus on latest developments in Azerbaijan and South Caucasus region and upcoming parliamentary elections.
