Azeri university to launch Armenian research center
BAKU – An Armenian research center will be launched at Azerbaijan’s Baku State University (BSU), according to head of press and information department of the University Parvana Ibrahimova.
She noted the center will research historic and modern problems related to "Armenian issue", as well as inform Azerbaijani community on socio-political processes in Armenia and fight against ideological attacks by Armenia and the Armenian diaspora against Azerbaijan and the Turkic world.
"The experts, who are fluent in Armenian, will be involved in research work and organizing symposiums, conferences and other events to denounce the aggressive character, provocative and false activity of this terrorist country and to defend the position of Azerbaijan in its fair struggle," Ibrahimova said.
The University official stressed: "The centre will study editorials in Armenian newspapers and Internet resources and on TV and make analytical reports on those editorials. One of our main goals is to investigate and denounce the essence of Armenian ideology, its provocative character. The centre will launch a website, publish a scientific journal and translate the analytical works and place them on its site."
