Azeri land distorted on British Airways website
BAKU – Azerbaijan’s territory has been distorted on the website of British Airways.
The map of the Middle East and Southern Asia, which shows flights from London, indicates the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic as part of Armenia.
Moreover, Azerbaijan’s title is not on the map, though it shows all other countries in the region.
Azerbaijan’s ancient enclave of Nakhchivan is geographically separated from the rest of the country by Armenia, which occupies 20 percent of the neighboring South Caucasus republic’s territory in defiance of international law.
