The Azerbaijani government plans to purchase 1,000 Mercedez S-Class
cars to be used in the capital Baku as taxis. The Transport
Ministry is in talks with the German carmaker on the issue.
The vehicles will be equipped with counters and managed by an up-to-date traffic control system to be installed in the city.
