FM Mammadyarov heads to Portugal

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has left for Portugal for an official visit, Azertac reported.
Elmar Mammadyarov will meet with officials of Portugal as part of his visit.
The meetings will focus on expanding cooperation on bilateral and multilateral formats, as well as developing economic, trade and inter-parliamentary relations between the two countries.
Azerbaijan and Portugal enjoy successful relations despite the geographical distance between the two countries.
The two countries signed a number of cooperation agreements, while representatives of both countries often pay high-level visits.
Azerbaijan and Portugal have a high potential for cooperation in the fields of information technologies, tourism, construction, agriculture, health and education.
