The Grape and Wine Festival in Shamakhi promises to be an unforgettable event, not only by introducing visitors to Azerbaijan's wine production but also with a vibrant entertainment program, Azernews reports.

The festival will take place at the "Shirvan Wines" LLC vineyard and winemaking complex in Meysəri village, and will kick off on September 13 with a special show. On that day, the stage will feature the "Mexican band," known for performing music in the styles of Mexico and samba. Other musical groups participating in the festival include the "Gaga band," which stands out for its dynamic rock and hip-hop performances, and "The Passion band," known for its performances with string instruments.

The "Dihaj" band, led by Diana Hajiyeva, who previously performed with the "Bəri bax" group and represented Azerbaijan at the 2017 Eurovision with the song "Skeletons," will also perform at the festival. The music band will present experimental electronic music. Another guest of the festival will be one of Azerbaijan's famous jazz performers, Ulviyya Rahimova, who has also participated in international competitions. On the first day of the festival, young composer and performer Kazım Candır will also take the stage, offering an energetic performance that will leave the audience with unforgettable memories.

Nigar Camal, who won the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest with Eldar Qasımov with the song "Running Scared," and Dilara Kazımova, who represented Azerbaijan in Eurovision 2014 with "Start a Fire," will both perform on the first day of the festival. Cuban singer, dancer, and choreographer Edglis Hayle, known for his energy and charisma, will invite festival-goers to dance to Latin American rhythms. DJ İradə, known for creating energetic tracks based on folk music roots, and another young DJ, Kamo, will also keep the festival's rhythm dynamic with music catering to various tastes.

The music program for September 14 will also be diverse. That day, the festival will open with a performance by young singer Sevanna, known for her unique voice and stage presentation in modern pop genres. Talented saxophonist Teymur Suleymanbayli and the soloist of the "Suleymanbayli Group," Nazrin, will also perform, promising unforgettable moments. The "Retro Band," known for their retro-style performances, as well as Elnur Huseynov, who has participated twice in Eurovision and won the "The Voice Turkiye" competition, will also take the stage. Popular pop singer Nura Suri, soloist of the "Qaya" state ensemble Humay Aslanova, People's Artist Tunzala Aghayeva, and famous singer Samir Piriyev will all perform, along with Nigar Jamal and DJ Kamo, each bringing their own unique performances.

The two-day festival will offer a fascinating program, allowing visitors to not only learn more about wine production and Azerbaijan's tourism potential but also to participate in various interactive games. The main goal of the festival is to promote local grape and wine production, increase the export potential of wine products, and raise awareness of the history of viticulture and winemaking in Azerbaijan, as well as the work done in this field.

This year, 23 wine brands will participate in the festival. In addition, an exhibition, various masterclass areas, and pavilions of famous restaurants will be set up on the festival grounds over the two days. Tastings of different varieties of wines from local and foreign producers will be organized, and visitors will have the chance to purchase their favorite products at factory prices. They will also have the opportunity to participate in master classes and hear interesting stories from the wine houses.
