YARAT invites you to wonderful musical evening

YARAT Contemporary Art Space invites you to enjoy a wonderful musical evening on February 13.
The Azerbaijan State Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Teymur Geokchaev will perform at the YARAT stage.
Azerbaijan Gara Garayev State Chamber Orchestra was established in 1964 on the initiative of prominent Azerbaijan composers Fikret Amirov and Gara Garayev.
As part of various projects initiated by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, a number of conductors including Salim Akchil, Khakan Shensoi, Simon Kamartin, Fabien Teerikson, Ricardo Averbach, Roland Freizitser performed with the orchestra.
Teymur Geokchaev is the People's Artist of Azerbaijan. The chief conductor and artistic directors of two state orchestras (the Chamber Orchestra named after Garayev and the Youth Symphony Orchestra), the director of the special music school named after Bulbul and a wonderful teacher.
The soloist of the concert is Rovshan Amrahov (violin), dancers- Gulagasi Mirzoyev, Nigar Ibrahimova.

YARAT is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to nurturing an understanding of contemporary art in Azerbaijan and to creating a platform for Azerbaijani art, both nationally and internationally. Based in Baku, YARAT (meaning CREATE in Azerbaijani) was founded by Aida Mahmudova in 2011.
The organization realizes its mission through an on-going program of exhibitions, education events and festivals. YARAT facilitates exchange between local and international artistic networks including foundations, galleries and museums.
