Curators of Azerbaijan’s financial market named
Heads of another two structures of Azerbaijan's Financial Market Supervisory Body have been named.
Javid Nazarov has been appointed the director of the Financial Market Supervisory Department, the Financial Market Supervisory Body told Trend May 16.
He previously served as head of the Licensing and Supervision Department of the State Committee for Securities which was liquidated in accordance with a decree signed by Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev in February 2016.
Moreover, Anar Salmanov has been appointed the director of the Financial Monitoring Service.
Salmanov earlier served as director of the Azerbaijani Central Bank's Financial Monitoring Service which was also liquidated in February.
Earlier, Fuad Sadikhov was appointed the director of Insurance Market Supervisory Department, Imran Mammadov was named the acting director of the Banking Supervision Department, while Asim Zulfugarov was appointed the deputy executive director of the Financial Market Supervisory Body.
