Ganja Automobile Plant, located in Azerbaijan's second largest city, produced 1,009 tractors of Belarus model in January-September 2014, which is 536 units more compared to the same period of 2013.
The plant produced 202 large-capacity cars of MAZ model in the reported period, and this figure was equal to 184 in the same period of 2013.
Also, the plant produced 732 units of hanging equipments, 73 units more compared to the same period of 2013.
In the first nine months of 2014, Ganja Automobile Plant produced 15 tractor trailers and 24 trailers for large-capacity cars.
Ganja Automobile Plant is engaged in the assembling of Minsk tractors and trucks.
Currently, Ganja Automobile Plant is assembling 6-7 tractors, 3 MAZ automobiles and other machineries per day.
The plant also produces tractor trailers, communal machinery, and snow removal equipment. The assembly of communal machinery is conducted as part of an agreement concluded with the German Haller Company.
Currently, the machinery produced and assembled in the plant is sold in the domestic market. Azerbaijan plans to export the goods to the foreign markets in the future. After the expansion of sale markets, the plant will increase the number of its productions.
