Cargo transportation via Silk Way corridor through Azerbaijan ups
Some 49.1 million tons of cargo (with an increase of 4.4%) and 236.4 million passengers (with an increase of 9.3%) were transported via Silk Way corridor (TRACECA) in Azerbaijan in January-October2013.
The State Statistical Committee reported that 46.2% of cargo transportation fell to share of motor transport, 36.32 to the railway transport, 17.6% - sea transport.
Some 382.1 million manats received from the cargo transportation, 78.8 million manats from the passenger transportation.
The figure increased by grew by 7.4% and 15.8%, respectively, compared to 2012.
