Italy's largest construction firm looking for partners
Italian construction company CMC is interested in cooperation with Azerbaijani firms, according to the website of the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Fund (AZPROMO).
The Italian company is interested in cooperation with Azerbaijani companies in areas such as transportation infrastructure - construction of tunnels, bridges, railways and highways, as well as in energy projects, water projects - construction of tunnels and dams and other projects.
The CMC company is the sixth largest construction company in Italy. As of 2010, its turnover amounted to 850.000.000 euros.
According to Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee, the volume of construction work in the country increased by 30.9 percent in January-October compared to the same period of the last year.
