New appointments in Azerbaijan’s Expressbank

Azerbaijani Expressbank has announced new appointments.
Ilham Gabibullayev was appointed acting chairman of the bank’s board, the bank said in a message March 7.
Earlier, Gabibullayev served as deputy chairman of the bank's board.
According to the message, the changes were made in the bank’s board in connection with the appointment of chairman of the bank's board Emin Mammadov as the head of the bank’s supervisory board.
Before Mammadov, Fahraddin Bahirov worked as chairman of the bank's supervisory board.
Gabibullayev has been working in the banking sector since 1995. He has been serving as deputy chairman of board of Expressbank since 2010.
Expressbank was founded in 1989.
Besides Baku city, the bank’s branches also operate in Sumgait, Ganja, Mingachevir, Barda, Gusar, Khachmaz and Shirvan. Expressbank has installed about 80 ATMs across the country, 6,000 POS-terminals and over 500 payment terminals ExpressPay.
