Azerbaijani karate fighters claim 2 medals in Dubai
Azerbaijani fighters have won two medals in Karate-1 Premier League Dubai 2016, Azertac reports.
In 75kg weight class, Rafael Agayev claimed gold after beating a Russian rival.
Captain of the Azerbaijani team Shahin Atamov snatched silver in the 84kg weight category.
The tournament brought together 661 karate fighters from 59 countries.
Total money prize of the tournament was $140,000.
