Japanese Hasegawa wins gold at FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Challenge Cup
Japanese Tomomasa Hasegawa won the gold medal at the FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Challenge Cup in Baku.
Hasegawa scored 15.400 points following his performance on the pommel horse.
Belgian gymnast Maxime Gentges ranked second, scoring 14.700 points, while Iranian Saeed Reza Keikha won bronze, having scored 14.450 points.
The FIG World Challenge Cup in Artistic Gymnastics kicked off in Baku on February 19 and is to end on February 21. As many as 45 male and 22 female gymnasts compete for medals in apparatus finals of the World Challenge Cup.
In general, athletes from 19 countries are participating in the event.
