A team in the group exercises consisting of Ulkar Huseynova, Fatima Akbarova, Gullu Aghalarzada, Maryam Safarova and Narin Gurbanova won a victory among 15 groups performing in the pre-juniors competition.
Individual gymnasts followed the group team’s example and increased the number of Azerbaijan’s medals.
The second and third gold was won by 15-year-old Narmin Bayramova. She won first place in the all-around and in the ball exercise. In the same age category, the silver went to 14-year-old gymnast Kamilla Aliyeva for her floor routine. And the youngest representative, 13-year-old Alina Mammadova, took ninth place in the all-around.
