Azerbaijani cyclist becomes third in Italy

Azerbaijan's young cyclist team took part in Valli Del Natisone Cycling Grand Prix, held in Italy.
A total of 111 young cyclists from over 10 countries participated in the competition. The one-day tour run along 120km route.
Azerbaijani cyclist Elgun Alizada became the third in this prestigious competition, reaching the distance for 2:47:40 seconds.
Elgun's recent result is the highest one in the Azerbaijan's cycling history, what is pulling international specialists attention to him. Earlier, Elgun took the 12th place in the competition held in Switzerland in July.
Elgun is expected to take part in the World Championship to be held in Spain on September 21-28.
