Azerbaijan's broadcasting regulator has announced a tender for
the opening of a sports TV channel in the country. A relevant
decision was adopted at a meeting of the National Television and

The NTRC chairman Nushiravan Maharramli said there was a need for
opening TV channels covering sports and culture as well as issues
concerning children, youths and education.
Bidders must submit their documents to the NTRC within a month
