By Laman Ismayilova
Mass cycling race under slogan "Less cars, more life" will be held in Baku on October 7.
The event is organized at the initiative of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources with the participation of the State Security Service, IDEA Public Union, UN Office in Azerbaijan, Republican Child and Youth Development Center, Azerbaijan Cycling Federation and Isma Bike, spokesperson of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural.
The cycling race will start at 10:00 am at Azneft Square and will run to the Heydar Aliyev Center.
The purpose of the cycling race is to attract the attention of the public and private sectors to the implementation of the Paris Climate Change Framework Convention (reduction of CO2 up to 35 percent by 2030), contributing to the reduction of heat-generating gases and promoting the tradition of days off without cars.
