GM Mammadyarov tops super grandmaster tournament in Tashkent
Azerbaijani Grandmaster Shahriyar Mammadyarov has topped the super grandmaster tournament commemorating the 680th anniversary of Amir Timur in Uzbekistan, Azertac reported.
Mammadyarov now has 6 points. He will next face Israeli Boris Gelfand.
The prize money of the tournament is $50,000.
The tournament will end on October 22.
