Azerbaijani athletes to compete in athletics and swimming on day 5 of Rio Paralympics
The fifth day of the Paralympic Games in Rio will see Azerbaijani athletes compete in athletics and swimming.
Swimmer Roman Salei will be in action in the men`s 400m freestyle event.
Runner Yelena Chebanu will vie for gold in the women's 200m final after qualifying with a time of 24.16 seconds yesterday.
In the men's 4x100m relay, Azerbaijan`s hopes will be pinned on Elchin Muradov, Elmir Jabrayilov, Kamil Aliyev and Oleg Panyutin.
