"Spartakiada" wraps up in Sabirabad [ PHOTO]

The second "Spartakiada" project wrapped up at the Sabirabad Olympic Sports Complex.
Co- organized by the Youth Foundation under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and ASAN Volunteers, the event aimed at popularizing sports among young people and promoting healthy lifestyle.
The event was attended by 60 volunteers divided into 10 separate teams. The participants competed in athletics, cycling, swimming and other sports.
The best three teams were awarded medals in the end.
Scoring two gold and two silver medals, the team "Barda" became the winner of competition.
ASAN Volunteers was established in 2009. The main mission of the organization is to support young generation and create opportunities for volunteers to improve their self- development.
Seeing voluntary work as a culture of movement, service develops opportunities for learning, inspiration and action to induce social change.
