Reformist daily speculates over cabinet reshuffle in Iran
An Iranian reformist newspaper has published an article forecasting reshuffle in President Hassan Rouhani's cabinet.
Reformist Arman newspaper has suggested that Rouhani to fulfill
his electoral promises needs to change several ministers, heads of
organizations and governor-generals.
Arman has speculated that Minister of Labor, Cooperatives and
Social Welfare Ali Rabiei, Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade
Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh, Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs
Mahmoud Goudarzi, Minister of Education Ali Asghar Fani are
expected to be replaced with fresh ministers.
Newspaper also expects changes at the presidential administration including a vice-president.
Earlier on May 3, the spokesman of government, Mohammad Bagher Nobakht dismissed speculations regarding the cabinet reshuffle.
Anticipations for a reshuffle in the Iranian cabinet appeared following the run-off parliamentary elections held Apr. 29.
The outcome of the elections gave President Hassan Rouhani's allies a working majority in the Iranian parliament.
