Hungary opens embassy in Tashkent
Hungary opened its embassy in Uzbekistan, the Uzbek Foreign Ministry reported on February 23.
Currently, the diplomatic mission is headed by Janos Vanik, Hungary’s charge d'affaires pro tempore in Uzbekistan.
Earlier, Hungary’s Ambassador Janos Balla with residence in Moscow was accredited to Uzbekistan.
The diplomatic relations between Uzbekistan and Hungary were established in March 1992.
