Iran’s foreign minister said the next round of talks between Tehran and the P5+1 group will be held at the deputy level.

Mohammad Javad Zarif noted that the works are underway to determine a date in December for the resumption of talks over Iran’s nuclear program, Press TV reported.

He said the talks will then continue, so that the two sides can reach an agreement.

Sergey Ryabkov, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister have recently said new round o talks between the P5+1 and Iran will be held on December 20.

Zarif further stressed that a final deal over Iran’s nuclear work is possible provided there is political will.

“We have repeatedly said that if there is political will and there are no excessive demands, we will be ready to accept a logical, fair and rational solution, as highlighted by Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei,” Zarif said.

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry earlier expressed hope that Iran and the P5+1 group could reach a final deal on Tehran’s nuclear issue months “before” June 2015 deadline.

Iran and the six powers – Russia, China, Britain, France, the U.S. and Germany - are working to reach a final accord aimed at putting an end to the longstanding dispute over Tehran’s nuclear issue.

Last month, the two sides failed to meet the November 24 deadline to sign a permanent nuclear deal. They agreed to extend their discussions until June 2015 so that they could resolve their differences and clinch a historic permanent accord.

Meanwhile, Alan Eyre, U.S. State Department’s Persian Language Spokesperson said Iran and the P5+1 group made "significant and real progress" during the last round of talks on Tehran’s nuclear case that encourages the sides to continue the negotiations.

Eyre told Trend news agency on December 9 that the sides decided to put March 1, 2015 as a new deadline for a political framework agreement, adding if the sides fail to achieve agreement on main political principles in four months then the sides can talk to make decision about the process.
