Georgia has became the vice-chairman of the United Nations General Assembly's 69th session, the Georgian Foreign Ministry reported on September 24.

The head of Georgia's mission in the UN, Kakha Imnadze, takes a seat at the presidium and holds separate meetings," the Ministry said.

The Georgian delegation, which attends the 69th session of UN General Assembly, is headed by country's Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili. He has already taken part at the Summit on climate, as well as at the 29th special session of the UN General Assembly.
