Kazakhstan to simplify business registration procedures
By Jamila Babayeva
Kazakhstan plans to reduce the number of documents necessary for business registration, the Minister of Regional Development Bolat Jamishev said on February 25.
He made the remarks at the government meeting.
He explained that two documents will be excluded from the list of documents necessary for opening a bank account through the National Bank. Order and the document confirming registration of the legal entity are the mentioned documents.
"To verify a client through the Ministry of Finance four less documents are now needed. Certificate of the registration number of the taxpayer, statistics card, order, and the document confirming registration of the legal entity are no longer needed," he added.
Jamishev believes that the measures should improve Kazakhstan`s ranking on "Enterprise opening" index of "Doing Business."
"Furthermore, the possibility of requesting registration of the legal entity with the authorized representative, when the founder is a foreign national or a foreign legal entity will be considered too," he said.
Jamishev also noted that they will automate state services on the "Issuance of duplicate title document for real estate" and submission of electronic application through an "electronic government" portal on "Property registration index" of "Doing Business".
