Int'l Piano Competition runs in Georgia
The fifth International Piano Competition will be opened by a concert in the Great Hall of the Tbilisi Conservatory on October 1.
Singer Alberto Nose (Italy, conductor Gogi Chichinadze (Georgia) and the Georgian Chamber Orchestra "Sifonieta" will perform in the concert.
Alberto Nose (Italy), Ramazi Asa (Egypt / France), Marta Soshinska (Poland / Germany), Oksana Jablonsky (USA), Norma Fisher (United Kingdom), Rolf-Dieter Arens (Germany), Chung -Mo Kang (South Korea) and Theresa Duso (France) will conduct master classes within the competition.
The International Piano Competition will end on October 14 by an award ceremony and a gala concert.
The competition was first held in Tbilisi in 1997.
