President-elect Hassan Rohani meets members of Iranian conservative party

Members of the Islamic Coalition Party (also Islamic Motalefeh
Party) has met Iranian president-elect Hassan Rohani and
congratulated him on his success in the presidential election, ISNA
news agency reported.
The members referred to Rohani as "the best choice" and said that
his win in the election returned peace to the society.
They welcomed Rohani's slogans toward establishing meritocracy
and emphasized the materialization of political development in the
country.
The Islamic Coalition Party is a conservative Islamist political
party in Iran. Its current secretary general is Habibollah
Asgaroladi.
Iran's eleventh presidential election was held on June 14.
Reformist candidate Hassan Rohani was officially named as Iran's
next president with 50.7 percent of the votes.
Rohani will become the incumbent president on August 3.
