Three arrested in Georgia buying a radioactive substance
Three people detained in Tbilisi on the purchase of highly
radioactive material Americium-241.

Sukhiashvili reported on Wednesday night at a special briefing that
three arrested were detained on immediate purchase.
Sukhiashvili reported no details, citing the investigation.
According to her, a criminal case under Article 242 of the Criminal
Code of Georgia was started and detainees face 5 to 10 years in
prison.
Americium-241 (Am-241), radioactive substance, is highly toxic.
