FM: Restoration of Georgia’s integrity top priority for new govt
The main direction of the new government's foreign policy is to restore Georgia's territorial integrity, Foreign Minister Maia Panjikidze told media,Trend news agency reported.
"The main directions of Georgia's foreign policy is to integrate into the European and Euro-Atlantic organizations, to intensify the strategic partnership with the U.S., to improve relations with Russia, but the main direction of the new government's foreign policy is to restore Georgia's territorial integrity," Panjikidze said.
She stressed that the Georgian people have already made their European choice and the process of European integration is irreversible.
"Our government will continue consolidating the international community's efforts to support the policy of non-recognizing Georgian regions," minister said.
