Three sailors of cargo ship sinking off Turkish coast rescued

Three out of 12 sailors of a dry cargo ship that sank off the Turkish coast have been rescued, Trend news agency reported, referring to TRT Haber TV channel on Tuesday.
All of the 12 crew members had been considered missing, 11 of whom are Ukrainian citizens, and one is a Russian citizen. It is reported that the dry cargo ship transporting coal sank near Istanbul.
Also, according to the TV channel, another dry cargo ship is drifting off the coast of Istanbul. The ship is sailing under the flag of Antigua and Barbuda.
All sea crossings were cancelled because of the strong southwesterly winds in Istanbul, Turkish DHA news agency reported on Tuesday.
Forecasters warn that the unstable weather will continue this week.
