Turkish parliament approves 2011 budget
ANKARA – Turkish Parliamentary General Assembly approved the 2011 budget on Sunday, Anadolu News Agency reported.
The budget was approved by a vote of 332 to 118.
Budget expenses in 2011 were calculated at 312.5 billion TL (202.9 billion USD), while budget revenues were estimated at 279 billion TL (181.1 billion USD).
The budget deficit in 2011 is expected to be 21.7 billion USD.
