Iran’s Chamber of Commerce: Gov't doesn’t pay attention to agriculture

Iran's agricultural sector has been under pressure for the last ten years, Chairman of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (ICCIMA) Gholamhossein Shafei said during the official breakfast with Mahmoud Hojjati, Iran’s Minister of Agriculture, Mehr news agency reported.
Although the minister of agriculture has put forward some requirements to the Currency and Credit Council of Iran, the Iranian government does not pay enough attention to agricultural sector, Shafei noted.
Shafei said the volume of banking services in the agricultural sector has continuously decreased during 2006-2016.
