In other words, to build the city's structure so that the residents feel comfortable and safe.

The Healthy Cities global movement promotes health issues in social, economic and political agendas of city authorities. The network has brought together around 100 flagship cities and about 30 national networks over 30 years.

The Healthy Cities movement includes thousands of municipal establishments around the world making it especially strong. Its international conferences are held every five years and serve as a site to hold meetings and exchange experiences with colleagues and partners from all over the world for cities' representatives.
