U.S. to regret imposing new sanctions on Iran, Rouhani says

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said Washington would regret choosing to impose new sanctions on Tehran.
“We will overcome this situation (sanctions) and America will regret choosing the wrong path,” Rouhani said on Sunday before leaving Tehran for New York to attend the annual UN General Assembly,
Stressing that the US is acting like a bully towards the world, he said, “Our people will resist and the government is ready to confront America”.
The US has a dream to return to Iran through creating chaos and unrest in Iran, the president said, noting that this will never come true.
He was apparently referring to a recent deadly attack in Iran’s southwestern city of Ahvaz that killed 25 and injured dozens.
