Earthquake jolts Tajikistan

A magnitude 4.8 earthquake occurred in Tajikistan at 8:40 (UTC+5) Jan. 12, Tajikistan’s Academy of Sciences told Khovar national information agency.
The epicenter was 125 kilometers east of Dushanbe city in the Rasht district. No possible casualties or damages have been reported.
Previously, a magnitude 4 quake also hit the country on Jan. 9.
