Turkey dissatisfied with Iranian gas prices, minister says
Turkey is dissatisfied with Iranian gas price, Turkish Energy Minister Taner Yildiz was quoted on Monday by Anadolu news agency.
He said that despite Turkey has appealed to the International Court of Arbitration, Iran has not discussed new prices with Ankara yet.
The minister also added that if the Iranian side announces new prices, Ankara is ready to review and discuss them.
Turkey appealed to the International Court of Arbitration over Iranian gas price in March 2012.
Earlier, Taner Yildiz said that the price on Iranian gas supplied to Turkey is much higher than the market price.
Iran and Turkey signed an agreement in 1996 to supply ten billion cubic meters of gas to Turkey annually (30 million cubic meters per day).
